Katrina Ruined the Books

RuthAnn Nadeau is the Librarian at Lusher School in New Orleans. She writes this, in an email response to the Sierra Blanca EP:

"Shannon, I received your name through our High School principal, Wiley Ates. Our library is in need of books for the high school level, since we were a middle school until Katrina. We need classic literature, such as Hemingway, Salinger, Vonnegut, Richard Wright, and James Baldwin, just to name a few. We also have a need for poetry, collections and individual authors. The contents of the building we acquired was deemed contaminated and 15,000 volumes in the library had to be discarded. Thank you for your concern and any help you can give us."
If you have books to donate to rebuilding this school's library, and can get them to the Presbytery Office somehow, the Websters will get them to New Orleans.
