CLAUNCH

The church at Claunch was re-opened as a preaching point in the Presbytery of Sierra Blanca, in the late 1990's when Don and Marj Daniels were serving the Mountain Ministry parish. Claunch was the original congregation of Presbyterianism in this central New Mexico spine of mountains, and the parent church of the congregations in the current Mt. Parish.  Its history traces to the beginning years of the century, and there is something timeless to find Presbyterian worship happening here again, at the end of one century and the beginning of another.
